Cetaphil — what's inside, by our grades

Cetaphil is deliberately unexciting, and that's the point: gentle cleansers and simple moisturisers aimed at sensitive and compromised skin. There are few "hero actives" to grade because it isn't trying to sell them – it's selling tolerability, which the formulations largely deliver.

The trade-off is obvious: don't expect actives-driven results. It's a barrier-support and cleansing brand, and judged on that job it's a reasonable, low-risk choice.
