The Evidence Register, as open data.

This is the same data we grade on — every compound in the register, each outcome scored A to F on the published evidence, with the citations, provenance, and identifiers behind each letter. It is free to download, cite, and build on. We open it because a grade you can't inspect is just an opinion — and nothing here sits behind the shop.

At a glance

85 compounds · 456 outcome grades (97 honestly left ungraded) · 373 citations (117 DOI-verified) · 64 structure & grade-card images
Version 1.0.0 · last updated 2026-07-14
License: CC BY 4.0 — one license for the data and the code.

What's inside

Six core tables, joined on a shared compound slug: compounds, grades per outcome, DOI-verified citations with scholarly cross-links, legal status by region, machine-readable cosmetic-claims maps, and chemical identifiers (CAS, InChIKey, PubChem CID, SMILES) with explicit confidence and provenance. Each compound carries a grade per outcome (A, B, C, D, F, or "-" where the evidence is too thin to score — never an invented F), plus generated structure and grade-card images. The full schema, table by table, lives in the repository's datasheet.

License & reuse

Data and code are released under CC BY 4.0. You're free to download, cite, and build on it — just keep the attribution. Full terms in the repository's LICENSE.
