Can you use Bakuchiol with Retinoids (retinol)?
Usually an either/or rather than a stack. Bakuchiol is chosen as a gentler alternative to a retinoid, so using both mostly adds irritation risk without a demonstrated additive benefit. If you are tolerating a retinoid well, bakuchiol has little to add; if you are not, it is the substitute.
Commonly advised: Frequently recommended by formulators; direct evidence can be limited.
